Thanklessness of Thinking

Although Heidegger saw thinking as a thanking, a giving of thanks to that which makes thinking possible (following the German link between Denken and Danken) and that getting inspiration was a gift, I see thinking, particularly in the sense of sharing my thoughts, as being one of the most thankless tasks in existence.

I do it because somehow I feel the urge to communicate, i.e. make common, my insights and thought communication does come easily to me. Also, I do get off on ideas but that seems to be a minority characteristic. I will probably keep sharing my thoughts until the day I die but I'm not expecting to hear from like-minds anytime soon, considering the age of this web log (it used to exist under a different incarnation) and the minute amount of feedback I have received so far in exchange for my intellectual labour.

I have to accept the fact that my sensibility as a Nietzsche-and-Heidegger-inspired Natural Law adept is perhaps too niche for most people to identify with. Nonetheless I will keep on writing and creating until such a time when I have run out of things to say. Because it is clear the Universe wants me to.

Angels & Demons

The concept of angels and demons could be argued to point to a real phenomenon in the world.

When one has done due diligence in the field of political truth, it is impossible to escape the conclusion that we are indeed ruled by demonic creatures, whether human like you and me or not, as some researchers like David Icke suggest.

The angels would therefore be those doing the Great Work of bringing truth and enlightenment to the masses - having become enlightened themselves - at great personal risk and outside the social order, which is essentially determined by the demons.

As I wrote below in Spiritual Tyrants and the New World Order it is most likely that the Dark New World Order of control, slavery and misery created by the demons will come to prevail through the existing social order and that the Light New World Order of enlightenment, freedom and happiness created by the angels will come to prevail outside the existing social order.

The word angel comes from the Greek ἀγγελος which simply means messenger and the real life angels of the world are those communicating both the message of there being demons in power as well as the solutions that need to be employed so as not to be ruined by said demons.

Why Dark Actions Prevail

Thoughtful people may come to wonder in their more introspective moments why dark realities come to prevail in the world when, even though far from enlightened, the mass of humanity are basically decent.

This problem was answered by Mark Passio in the following way:
"The Universe gives priority to dark care over no care."
More to the point, the occultist psychopaths who control the world, its resources, its means of distraction and violence, are both internally and externally unified.

The same cannot be said of most 'good' people, i.e. people who have good tendencies, because good people are often divided among as well as within themselves.

The fact that the great, great majority - myself included - comply or buy into the manipulation and the evil - e.g. by buying from and working for corporations they know to be evil or not critically evaluating and resisting the mind control techniques that are employed everyday by the powerful - means that they are not acting in accordance with their true selves and in this behavioural incongruence with their psyche - however much the latter is manipulated - allow evil to endure and even prevail.

That being said, and this is not something Mark Passio ever mentions, it is easier to be internally and externally unified when you have no compassion or empathy - emotions not having to be taken into account - and when you consider the fact that the elite psychopaths who run the show are a tiny number as compared to the unsuspecting, allegedly 'sleeping' masses who number in the billions. Try 'unifying' billions of people for goodness sake!

Moreover it is extremely arduous, not to say impossible, to completely resist and live outside the conditions, however evil and engineered, that are brought to bear by psychopathic controllers, especially when others around you are not so clued up about how the world works and themselves need to be brought up to date which many will be reluctant to do. For ignorance is a short-lived but ultimately genuine bliss.

Casting Spells - Evaluation

To spell a word is, deep down, to cast a spell

Whether the spell that is cast through the word smacks of magic - influencing change to occur with Higher Will - or sorcery - influencing change to occur with selfish will - is for the beholder to evaluate.

"man means the evaluator."

What is Patience?

Patience comes from the Latin patior, to endure, with connotations of pain.

It follows that the more patient you are, the more shit you can endure, both stemming from other people as well as daily events.

It seems to me that a lot of online quarrelling, whether of a political or personal nature, stems from strong emotional reactions born of a loss of patience.

I too am guilty of this.

What has helped me however in not falling prey to strong emotional reaction is accepting that I cannot control the thoughts, emotions and actions of others and that I myself have at times been most unenlightened and confused about both myself and the world.

Thus it could be argued that
"patience nurtures magnanimity"
in the sense of large mindedness and kindness of spirit (magnanimity is Latin in origin meaning large soul).

Two Contemporary Definitions of Truth

My first ever blog post on ScruffyOwlet's Tree - Lathoron, a Philosophical Dialogue - reached the conclusion that truth is that which makes meaning possible

Years later when I discovered the valuable work of researcher and thinker Mark Passio from whatonearthishappening.com I came across his definition according to which truth is simply that which is

So it would appear that for Mark Passio, truth equates to Being - I'm sure German philosopher and well-known author of Being and Time, Martin Heidegger, would have approved.

Perhaps the two definitions can be reconciled in so far as it is Being, that which is, that enables the possibility for meaning, all meaning arguably springing from the source of our existence, what makes us be

Therefore, truth can be seen as both that which is and that which makes meaning possible.

Historically, truth was seen as correctness of perception, i.e. perception being aligned with the things themselves, aedequatio intellectus et rei

This of course follows from truth being that which is and gives added strength to the notion that one's perception, and therefore existence, can be closer or further away from truth, both in the sense of that which is and that which gives meaning.

It could be equally argued that the closer to truth, i.e. Being, one's perception is, the more meaningful it becomes, following the link that has been made between truth and meaning.

Wiseman's Response

A psychological test for evaluating your personality and self-esteem levels often asks you to fill in the following sentences:
  1. People are...
  2. I am...
  3. The world is...
It seems to have escaped the notice of the test-makers that a wiseman would simply leave the dots blank and write:
  1. People are...
  2. I am...
  3. The world is...
keeping himself from making any value judgement about these three things.
